I have nothing more to say about today. It was full of shit.

The vision of it is haunting me. Will I lose this one? Will she win this one?

And the record keeps playing the same old song… Haha I got theme song again… But nevermind. Not important. Morning class went ok. Then I went to pray at the masjid an-nur. Quite far sia. Then went back to school to do presentation. It was boring till we decided to play cards.

Speaking of cards, Val P taught me a nice card/love game thing where it shows how far are you and your girl/boy. Interesting… Was doing it the whole night. Was a whole load of fun. I want to do it everytime now. It kills time like crap. But anyway onto more pressing matters.

Tomorrow is Sakae-Noss Champs. I must defend title. I must bring home the freaking throphy. I came to a conclusion that if he is my only good competition I might match race to prevent him from taking the challenge throphy. But that’s a last resort.

More importantly, I have to wash my boat, tape up my mast step, fix my universal joint, transfer downhaul pulley. A lot of stuff I need to do. But heck. One way or another I have to.

So yeah, D-Day is tomorrow and I’m ready for it. OOH-RAH.

ANOTHER WASTED DAY DAMMIT. Woke up in the morning, hearing nothing but the sound of rain drops, thudding against my window. What a start to the day. So I lethargically dragged my arse to school only to find out it was still raining. So then I had to drag my now WET arse into the cold class. But class was relatively alright. Was looking forward to sailing and going to nsc to fix up my boat but in the end uncle koh cancelled the trip to nsc and we ventured to orchard road instead.

It was, me, faris, aaron, Darren, malcom, audi, ming, UK. We lanned then we went to eat at far east. (Yes, I lanned.) So I had 2 hours to kill before class started so I went to class to find that all the AUT sailors were there. Haha. So when they left for dinner at vista I went down to the dining hall.

Had a weird experience at the dining hall today. First I had a girl from the table across mine who kept stealing glances at me. So I didn’t know whether to acknowledge it or be afraid. So I chose option 3, which was to act nonchalant. But she still kept looking at me. Ps. She wasn’t that bad looking. Then, when angelfish was sitting like a meter away from me, (yes, I still call her angelfish) I was like so tension. I CAN’T BELIEVE I AM STILL TENSION WITH HER AROUND. Bummer.

I still have a hole in my heart. And it’s because of you miss angelfish..

Tiring, wet day for sailors as the rain came down upon us as we prayed for the wind to come after the precipitation has ceased. And yes! There was quite a strong breeze coming from south west as expected. So I launched and braved the conditions as my hiking muscles kicked in almost as in new to the strong wind atmosphere. But I have to say my right big toe is still in a tad bit of pain and I can’t do my downwind posture properly. I do hope tomorrow I can do a proper posture.

In the ends good things had to come to an end as the wind died to a zero at around 4pm. So there I was drifting back to shore. Got back on shore by 4.30pm, de-rigged and went to do like 10 min of core stability.

Class was a load of bull because I had zero concentration at my table with all the distractions. But still I managed to digest a little bit of what I can. And I pulled it off.

Oh yeah, tonight while uncle paul was driving there was this guy who overtook him and he got agitated so he revved up his turbo and chased the guy to the traffic light. Super cool.

I’m such a disappointment. I chose to go FourtyTwo instead of training byte today. Sheesh, call yourself a champion fen. Nevermind. The most important thing is that I had to be active in tomorrow’s training and focus on what I did right the previous regatta. My new tactics seemed to have worked then, so I should just familiarize myself with the tactics I went through. Basically it’s a drastic change for me. Safely saying, I am not a sailor who does this a lot but I’m trying to get myself into the habit of doing so.

FourtyTwos are a real bunch of fun. I mean even though I’m like the slowest boat out there today I still had a blast even with malcom as my partner. Haha. Just wished the winds were a tad stronger. Nevertheless I enjoyed it a lot and might consider a big move to the class sometime next year. Haha.

Oh ya! Terry’s new radar’s are awesome stuff man. Custom ordered from the US. One word to describe it; SEXY.

Anyway, will be training tomorrow, full force, I wanna test my wind readings. Today I couldn’t even tell the difference between a lift and a gust. Sheesh fen. BUCK UP.

A satisfied day of TV, Computer, Guitar and of course lazing around. But alas, there is still the haunting task of my management class at the wee hours of the night. It went well seeing that I was chatting on the com bout soccer for the second half of class and watching soccer from afar as Calvin’s computer played the live match between Thailand Australia. It was fun while it lasted.

The folks picked me from school today, had to go top up petrol because the fuel gauge was showing us a haunting image as the needle hovered over the letter E. So we wandered woodlands in search of a shell station. However, there wasn’t one around so we made do with an esso station.

Then here I am filling my blog again. I am amazed at my blogging skills now because I have edited the template by myself, wiping an hour of nothingness from my life.

Anyway, tomorrow will be the day in which I shall touch seawater again filling my good ol’ byte sail with wind. Hip Hip Hooray!

I have unfortunately come to a conclusion that the kilos are piling up on me. I mean, 2 weeks of not training and I pack on 3.5 kilos? Ouch man. And its piling on my face and stomach. I can barely see my abs anymore…

So there you have it, I must say that I have to watch my diet and also my fitness have got to return by sakae noss if not I am a gonner. I don’t want to lose to Zi yang. And trust me I won’t. But on the other hand the girls winner is already decided. Bummer.

Anyway, I have a strong feeling I am going gaa gaa over miss Emma Watson… She’s the hottie hot hottie I want. Other than that French girl from Thailand and my little miss anonymous, I’d say she’s worth my drooling… Haha… A guy can dream can’t he?

Back from VS’ Speech Day. I got a medal I think. Yeah, a medal with my name and some stuff engraved onto it. But heck I had nothing to do the whole day anyway. Got my paycheck already, 121 bucks. Not a lot considering I owe a dear friend money. Haha… Hang on amb, I’m on it. So yeah, my wounds are healing well. My face is almost scab free. But the flesh underneath is pink though. Haha…

Also, I got my oakleys yesterday… Thank you very much. I would like to thank O-Pimp and his dad for making the price soooo worth it. Tomorrow is a Sunday and I feel like lazing around at home, and do some work while I’m at it. I might as well start doing a few of my essays. So yeah, other than the accident, the week has been great.

Anyway, I would like to congratulate team Singapore’s optimist team; most importantly out very own Luke Tan on bringing home the asean trophy. Kudos to you on a job well done. Congrats to Rachel and Russell for placing second and third respectively.

Tiring tiring day.. Woke up with god forsaken headaches sending me to the verge of insanity. But yeah, woke up, head throbbing. But a plus is that im healing! Haha.. yupp, night class was ok.. kinda had to hide the ugliness but its lame.. Hope it heals faster.

Anyway, tomorrow I have morning class again, and the laceration at the top of my head is saying otherwise.. God I wish the pain would stop..

There’s a lesson to be learned here:

When your not wearing a helmet or any form of protective gear, do not assume you are a Moto GP racer.

I would just like to say that taking a corner at say a gazillion miles an hour is not a good thing. Trust me on this one. I’m never going over 10km/h on a bike EVER.

Just received notice that val is not sailing for sakae noss. And well that means its an auto win for someone else. SSF might as well engrave her name on it beforehand sia. Why val why… Maybe she won’t win. Haha. That’ll tickle my fancy. =) Hehe..

Anyway, woke up at 1130hrs today, just in time for Scooby doo! Haha.. nice episode today.

2. I would rather have my bowels removed than to listen to another of her rants, so I’m not bothering.
3. I’m not looking for a predicament mike. It’s a fcuking statement. You wanna fcuk around then go do it somewhere else. You wanna butt heads against me I’m all for it. You wanna let something like this screw you over then by all fcuking means go ahead.

Edit: Best friend? Backstab? Dinner? It’s all part and parcel of life dammit. And when life gives you lemons, you take them and squeeze the juices into another’s eyes.

Day 4 of interschools. Yet another bittersweet victory. But alas, despite the victory, I for one feel utmost sorry. I mean. There are times when we as mature adults, take in to concern our respect for others. Im truly sorry for ac who have really fought real hard for this. Im sorry to tim lim for taking away your trophy. But my deepest of apologies goes out to none other than kwong ming. A brave and humble man he is. I cannot start describing how much pain I feel deep within. When VS beat ac b div in 2005, THAT felt great. The sole reason why I went to vs was to break the ac streak. So my goal was accomplished then. But now when you pit two very equally matched teams together, and one wins by protest, I feel that the victory is a tad bittersweet.

By the way; congrats Val, Mark, Rachel, Colin, TzeTing/Sarah, Ming/Terry


Im all for vj on their amazing effort out there today. Watching from the breakwater sent shivers down my spine. But I mean there are protests. The sole reason why there are protests means that someone is in the wrong. So in that favor, all is fair. But it’s the biggest two teams pitting heads against each other. It so melodramatic when we huddle up and listen to words as such. Im in awe. Now I understand that kwong ming has taken it very hard but who can blame him? He is an amazing sailor. He is leading an amazing team. And the thing that gives his a lot of respect is that he respects his competitors.

A note to all first. When a competitor comes up to you and offers you a handshake, YOU TAKE IT. Sprouting words like; “I’m sorry but I lost respect for your team”. That’s BALLS man. Im sorry but this really angers me.

However in all good spirit, the team has done well and three cheers to both VJ and AC. Keep the flags flying high. It’s a sorrowful way to end an amazing and action packed championship, but still it’s the end people. We have said our sorrys and our congratulations. We are sailors. We keep sailing and we follow where ever the wind blows us to.

Day 3 of interschools, Val is leading the byte girls, mark leading the guy, followed by zyang in second. In the a div, VJ is sadly behind but not giving up yet. The terror team of ming nad terry are leading the pack. Kyne and alexi bringing up the rear. The lasers are a sad story.. Since VJ’s lasers are behind, they are bringing the team down. But no worries guys, we all have faith that you can do it. We got the VJ spirit! Although I’m the only guy cheering you people from shore but it doesn’t matter because I know that the winds will blow in your favor.

The speed at which I chiong-ed to nsc was godspeed. Took 168 to tampines then cabbed down to nsc reaching there by 1. WAHAHA only 1 hour commuting time. SOLID. First thing I did when I reached nsc was to chiong all the way to the laser side course to spy on what’s happening. WINDS WERE UNHOLY. So far a lot of action. So I ran all the way to the byte side then. RACE JUST STARTED, solid, a lot of action also. Val rounds windward first. As usual. Next on the guys side, Ziyang was just bearing down to do his downwind. Solid action the bytes are all close.

So seizing the opportunity, I dashed back to the laser course and spied somemore. RACE JUST STARTED TOO. Action packed man. A lot of crosses and the occilating winds made it so cool. Saw ming and terry round first so confident already. So I thought byte course still going on so I chiong back to the byte side.

SOLID. They just finishing. Saw Val finish in the front with a godlike lead only I can beat. In the fleet behind her included denise, shevaun, desiree and my SIN 7. So I’m like thinking, what the hell is boat 01 doing so far back. Dammit. I hope its not my boat. Then Ziyang finished first. Lapping a few girls..

So i’m thinking that ok, byte no challenge already. Go back to laser side. Then when I was about to go spy, they already coming back. So jialat. Go help them recover lor.. Smile’s were expected from the 420 team. Laser’s didn’t feel the same way.

But no worries guys. Tomorrow is another day. And there are still 3 races for you guys to seize the opportunity. Remember guys, no guts no glory. TAKE IT ALL!

VJ SAILING ROCKS! =)

Yeah.. as the above statement has portrayed the following information, the girls of vj sailing has swept the competition with a 1234 laser finish and a 12 FourTwenty's finish. Congrats goes to Rachel for topping the laser fleet, finally winning her first interschools championship, adding another champion to the list. Also to tzeting and sarah for a brilliant performance.

I just have to say VJ Sailing has ignited the Victorian spirit in me and trust me its never gonna simmer down. It felt good singing the anthem again. It felt good supporting fellow Victorians. It felt good to pay respect to the flag once again. This feeling is truly amazing.

From shouting from the breakwater, cheering the sailors on, despite the fact that they are way beyond audible range. To the sheer spirit of the sailors around me as they presented roses and daisies to the girls as they recovered. As Rachel stepped up onto land, a moment of silence then a congratulatory hug from me as she proved herself to be one whom others should not mess with.

The sight of the sailors crowding around each other. Simply put. They were a team.

Surely, AUT will never have this much spirit. This spirit is unique. It is one of a kind. The sheer power generated from me and terry alone can shake up the whole beach in our echoing voices. This is where I should belong. VJ sailing.

Why you ask I did not choose to go, I have no clue. I was blinded by selfishness. Now I live in regret. Never to be a part of this team.

To VJ Sailing, I bow down before you and salute you.

Hmm, morning class was alright. I paid attention at least. Went down to the dining hall after that to chat with the sailors. Then went home. Knocked off on the couch till like 4.30? then got ready for night class again…

Yes we had night class.. motivation.. haha.. his classes are interesting la.. I seem to pay quite a solid amount of attention.. yeah.. anyway im home now.. first thing I did when I reached home was to go online and listen to the live commentary of the america’s cup and guess wad:

ALINGHI WON BY ONE SECOND TO CLINCH THE AMERICA’S CUP AGAIN!

5-2 to alinghi.. emirates team new Zealand gave a real good fight but a penalty cost them the win.

On the happy note, RACHEL’S FIRST!!! Haha yeah.. she’s godspeed! Haha.. vj girls team is first. Obviously.

However.. C div boys, RI is first.. Sobs.. why why why…
