So its 8 days till i go under the knife and i really can feel the cold sweat inching down my back each and every time i think about it. i just cant help but take this time to acknowledge the family and friends who've been by my side all these while for they have been the ones who have stood by my side through everything and so help me i will not forget these people. I dont know how people can go into surgery without fear. There is such a thing as a surgical anxiety! And i am practically SWIMMING in it right now. but no problem, i'm just gonna let it slide... I have no choice. This is my future we're talkin about. I wanna run, I wanna sprint, I wanna cycle. And maybe, just maybe, in 2 years time, i wanna play soccer again.

So damn this anxiety. I hate this feeling.

this is killing me slowly inside. its officially 14 days till my surgery and i am seriously freaking out. Like 'OMG I CANT BELIEVE IM GOING THRU WITH THIS' freaking out. But it made me realise that im still a little kid. a kid that's afraid of getting shots. a kid thats afraid of pain. a kid that just wants to have fun. I just wanna devote this last 2 weeks to having the most awesome time of my ife and after that, i know i will suffer. But at least i know the suffering was worth it. I mean yeah, i could have just not gotten the injury in the first place but this is something im gonna tell my kids and my grandkids. Im going under the knife. Im gonna get really fat from all the lying around. But i assure everyone out there that i'm gonna bounce back so hard you're gonna get knocked back and all you can say is 'wow'
