Meh. Gonna start ranting on the dead-but-not-dead-yet blog. Work has been really up and down at this point but this morning was quite weird. HR executive came into the office to ask my supervisor;

HR Exec: Capt, are you still looking for someone to take the head of seasports post?
Capt: -silent-
HR Exec: There's this guy who sent in his CV and it's quite comprehensive
Capt: ok ok I'll have a look at it then

It doesn't really concern me but seeing as to how I APPLIED for the head of seaports post (And didn't get it obviously), this guy is gonna be my boss. So like uh, I don't mind and all but as long as

A) They don't down my rank
B) They don't down my pay

Cuz I'm more than happy to get this workload off my shoulders
